The Role
You will focus on analysing development opportunities being considered for acquisition and help manage the existing portfolio within BRIP. This will include running development appraisals, reviewing new opportunities and making recommendations, undertaking detailed market research, preparing board reports, assisting with legal and property due diligence in the acquisition process, assisting with investor and Board reporting, attending site visits of prospective and portfolio sites and contributing to Barwood Capital’s wider corporate aspirations.
The Person
You will likely be a newly qualified surveyor with 1-3 years post qualified experience (MRICS) and likely worked in a development, finance or fund management function. You will have experience of creating development appraisals, valuations or purchase and sale reports. Importantly, you will have a strong understanding of the development process including the risks associated with development. Comfortable operating independently and within a collaborative structure, you will have excellent report writing, numerical and analytical skills in addition to excellent communication skills.
