Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to provide high-quality support to children and families within their homes. Duties
* Assist children with daily activities such as dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene
* Support children with homework and educational activities, fostering learning and development
* Implement and follow personalised care plans tailored to each child's needs
* Provide companionship and emotional support to children and their families
* Drive children to school, appointments, or recreational activities as required
* Maintain a safe and clean environment during all interactions
* Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other care team members regarding progress or concerns
* Monitor children's behaviour and report any issues or incidents promptly
* Assist with light household tasks related to child care
Experience
* Experience working with children in a childcare or home support setting is preferred
* Knowledge of child development principles and childcare practices
* Ability to develop trustful relationships with children and their families
* Strong communication skills for liaising effectively with families and team members
* Proficiency in using IT for documentation, scheduling, or communication purposes
* Valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting children safely
