The school is seeking a committed and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their supportive team this January.
About the Role
As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in enriching pupils’ learning experiences across the school. Working closely with teaching staff, you’ll support lesson delivery, lead focused group activities, and contribute to planning and assessment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate HLTA looking to make a genuine impact within a warm and vibrant school community.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
* Lead small group or one-to-one interventions to boost pupil progress
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
* Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and personal development
* Prepare learning resources and monitor pupil achievement
* Provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and wider school staff to promote success
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a HLTA or in a senior classroom support role
* A proactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to education
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to inclusive practices and supporting diverse learning needs
* HLTA qualification (or equivalent) – highly desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
