Job Description:
This is a unique and challenging opportunity to take on multi-site responsibility across an expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing business that is looking to strengthen its approach to consistent Health and Safety management. Having advanced over the past two years through successful projects to increase manufacturing and headcount, Health and Safety remains a key focus.
While this role is multi-site focused, it also involves hands-on responsibility across all Health and Safety aspects, not just oversight.
The manufacturing environment will require previous experience in radiation and/or radioactivity, including creating consistent procedures and supporting local site challenges to maintain compliance.
The business plans to expand its facilities, and the HSE Manager will be responsible for creating new documentation and processes for implementation.
This position is based remotely and not tied to a single facility, but travel to sites across the UK is expected approximately once per month. A car or car allowance is included in the benefits package.
Initially, in the first 6 months, three days on-site at a South-East facility in Surrey will be required to support immediate challenges.
For further information, please contact Mark Bux-Ryan.
Key Experience:
* Established HSE / Health and Safety professional with hands-on experience
* Experience in relevant radioactive settings (not limited to pharmaceuticals)
* IRR17 experience and radiological risk assessment skills
* Practical approach with the ability to engage all levels within the business
