We are looking for a driven Sales Development Representative to help generate new business and support continued growth within the customs and logistics space, on behalf of our client as leading customs brokerage. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, playing a key role in creating strong first impressions and building a high-quality sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and research potential clients across target markets
* Prospect via calls, emails, and social platforms to generate interest
* Qualify leads by understanding business needs and fit
* Provide entry level guidance on customs processes and the value of using an intermediary
* Manage and track leads using CRM (HubSpot)
* Collaborate with the wider sales team to convert opportunities
* Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and internal processes
* Report on activity, lead generation, and performance metrics
Salary & Benefits:
* £30,000-£35,000
* Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm
* Pension Scheme
* 31 Days Annual Leave including Bank Holidays
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 1 year experience in a sales or customer facing role
* Background in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs is advantageous
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience using CRM systems
* Highly organised with strong time management skills
* Able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
* Proactive, adaptable, and results driven mindset
* Additional European language skills are a plus
