What your days will look like
In your role as Corporate Tax Compliance | Senior Manager, you are responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients, ensuring adherence to UK tax regulations and standards. You will manage complex tax compliance projects, identify tax planning opportunities, and mitigate risks. You will lead a team of tax professionals, provide guidance and mentoring while ensuring high-quality deliverables. You will also collaborate with other PwC teams to deliver integrated services, staying updated on tax legislation changes and their implications for clients.
Responsibilities
* Client management: Engaging with clients to understand their tax needs, providing strategic advice, and ensuring satisfaction with PwC's services.
* Leadership of large teams and senior stakeholder management
* Technical analysis: Staying abreast of changes in tax legislation and regulations, assessing their impact on clients, and advising on necessary adjustments.
* Collaboration: Working with other PwC departments to provide integrated services and holistic solutions to clients and participate in initiatives to attract new clients/expand services to existing clients
Qualifications
* Must possess a tax professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ATT, CTA, ACCA or international equivalent) or equivalent work experience, including international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
* UK corporate tax knowledge including the ability to review UK tax computations and tax accounting, group reporting calculations and disclosures for accuracy, identify broader opportunities and risks for the client
* Sound accounting knowledge and the ability to interpret statutory accounts
* Leadership experience with senior stakeholders both internally and externally, including building and maintaining relationships within large teams
* Highly developed client service ethos and ability to adopt a flexible approach to meeting client needs
* Proven experience in identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the tax compliance process through technology and innovative practices
