We are currently working with a well-established SEN school in the Kings Heath area that is seeking a dedicated teacher to join their team. About the School
Located in the heart of Kings Heath, this is a specialist SEN provision catering for students aged with a range of needs including:
* Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
* Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
* Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

Role and Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum adapted to meet individual needs
* Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and support staff
* Manage classroom behaviour positively and proactively, following the school s behaviour policy
* Work closely with Teaching Assistants and external professionals
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers
* Contribute to the wider school community and participate in training and development
Requirements
* Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Proven experience teaching in a secondary setting
* Experience working within an SEN environment, particularly with ASD, ADHD, and behavioural needs
* A strong understanding of differentiation, sensory needs, and emotional regulation strategies
* Excellent communication, resilience, and behaviour management skills
* Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
