About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to provide strategic leadership in governance, compliance, and quality across a range of regulated healthcare services. This is a senior leadership role focused on CQC compliance and quality improvement, not day-to-day service operations. You will hold CQC registration and work closely with senior management to embed a culture of excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement across all services. Our organisation delivers high-quality, person-centred care to adults and children across Complex Care, Domiciliary Care, and Learning Disabilities services supporting individuals with spinal injuries, brain injuries, and ventilation or tracheostomy needs. Key Responsibilities Regulatory & Compliance Hold and maintain CQC registration for regulated activities (Personal Care, TDDI, Diagnostic & Screening Procedures, Surgical Procedures). Lead on CQC inspections, audits, and self-assessment frameworks. Ensure all governance, documentation, and incident reporting meet statutory and regulatory standards. Keep policies and procedures aligned with the CQC Single Assessment Framework and national best practice. Quality & Governance Oversee internal audit and quality assurance systems. Drive improvement and learning following inspections, incidents, or complaints. Implement strategies to achieve Outstanding ratings across all CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs). Promote reflective practice and continuous development across teams. Leadership & Collaboration Provide professional leadership, coaching, and mentoring to managers and coordinators. Build strong working relationships with commissioners, ICBs, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams. Support board-level governance reporting and quality presentations. Act as the organisations CQC point of contact for regulatory matters. Strategic & Operational Support (Non-Frontline) Offer expert advice to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality service delivery. Support with governance escalation on-call (as required). Advise on service expansion, new registrations, and compliance frameworks. Requirements Proven experience as a Registered Manager with a Good or Outstanding CQC track record. Strong understanding of CQC KLOEs and the Single Assessment Framework. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Experience in Complex Care, Domiciliary Care, or multi-stream regulated services preferred. Skilled in governance, audit, compliance, and quality systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills. Commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
