Position: Graduate Design Engineer
Location: Evesham, Worcestershire
Job Type: Permanent / Onsite
My client, a specialist assembly and manufacturing business are on the hunt for an tenacious Manager to join the team!
Role and Responsibilities – Graduate Design Engineer
In this role, the Junior Design Engineer will take ownership of drawing/BOM updates, change pack creation, data hygiene, documentation and provide structured support to New Product Development and NPI Activities.
Other responsibilities include:
* Produce and update 3D models and 2D drawings to company standards
* Create and maintain BOM structures (new assemblies and sustaining updates)
* Track actions and ensure engineering documentation is complete before release
* Draft first versions of work instructions, test report shells, assembly notes, supplier pack cover sheets and other engineering documents
Experience or Qualifications – Graduate Design Engineer
* Degree/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
* Experience with CAD (SolidWorks/Inventor/Creo or similar) and producing production drawings
* Familiarity with BOMs/ERP concepts (beneficial, not essential)
* Any exposure to manufacturing processes (welding, assembly, machining etc..)

Candidates who currently are a Graduate Design Engineer, Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, Graduate Designer or Graduate Product Designer may be suitable for this position.
