Responsibilities
* Team Leadership
* Strategic Execution: helping the PM to develop and implement detailed construction strategies and plans.
* Project Oversight: delivering new projects into Sizewell C with safety and quality at the forefront of our work.
* Stakeholder Engagement: collaborating with contractors, regulators, and government bodies to ensure project success.
* Continuous Improvement: driving innovation and embedding lessons learned to ensure world‑class project delivery.
Qualifications
* Good knowledge of CDM Regulations and a proven track record of their implementation.
* Proven leader with a strong track record of delivering large, technically complex construction and civil engineering projects.
* Industry expertise within construction and civil engineering.
* Experience managing multidisciplinary teams on projects and working within regulated environments.
* Management skills: supervising Tier 1 contractors.
* Leadership capabilities: inspiring teams, resolving complex issues, and fostering collaboration.
* Technical knowledge: familiarity with construction methodologies, CDM Regulations, and earned value management tools.
* Strong communication: excellent interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
* Degree and chartered status in engineering, construction, or a related field desirable.
* SMSTS and CSCS site manager card – essential.
