Reporting to the Head of Group sales, this role is part of the Group Commercial Team and the European Retail sales community to lead the international customer agenda for the business with a pan-European approach to support all our markets and build sales capability across our network. The focus for this role is to set, lead and deliver the agenda for International Buying/Pricing Alliances, and step-on capability within the Head of sales and Key account community to enable excellent execution and a One Nomad approach. We are looking for an individual who has strong inter-personal skills, good at connecting teams, and developing future growth plans. This role is to support the Head of Group sales and is instrumental to driving the International Account governance and alignment across our markets and significant number of stakeholders. The Alliances account for over €1.5Bn NS, with over 30 of our top customers across Europe, managing 5 Retail and 3 pricing alliances. Aligning with our functional expertise colleagues, creating, and sharing instrumental trade material for our markets for very challenging customer conversations. Building and driving engagement with others to deliver a successful outcome. Kick start negotiation each year for all 3 International buying Alliances with the different MU/Sales teams Lead/Coordination role throughout the Annual negotiation process, Track the negotiation progress Onboard and support new created pricing alliances with the salesteams of the MU’s Support Local Sales Teams on risk & exposure assessment regarding International Customers Deliver and follow up on our International pricing Strategy workstream ( as part of the Future of retail program Follow up on the risk mitigation plan for the existing alliances Complete risk- assessment and calculation for new members/alliances Further develop capabilities on International pricing Facilitate the euro pricing workshops with RGM and Sales community Run Negotiation workshops Develop an International Pricing alliance playbook as part of the Future of Retail Program Develop a long term strategy for the International Buying alliance Develop a local/Central Customer engagement model to drive commercial excellence Mentor new Key Account Managers in market on ways of working, consistency of approach and best practices Participate & support in other cross-functional projects representing commercial guidance and principles. Support with engagement with the ESLT, Exec and prepare materials for the Central APs & Strat Plan Co-create and co- lead for the Future of retail program in collaboration with RGM, Legal, Finance, Sales & Category Essential 10 years of FMCG experience, preferably in a branded business High degree of experience working in an international business environment High degree of understanding in Retailers/ channels/formats High degree of understanding of business Financials (P&L, profit pool) High degree of understanding of the FMCG landscape (Retailers & Manufacturers) Strong relationship building, steering, and capability to connect markets Ability to energise, reach and align multiple stakeholders towards a common vision Strong internal & external negotiation skills at all levels Ability to gather relevant information Ability to support/facilitate sales training in markets Relationship building including matrix management Self-management and entrepreneurial skills to boost internal projects Drive for results Excellent analytical skills Influencing skills Demonstrates thought Leadership capability Team leadership skills Decision-oriented with the ability to take controlled risks and manage expectations Ability to balance multiple stakeholder needs Multi-market experience and languages are preferred Desirable Food (Frozen) sector experience Time spent working outside of home country
