SC CLEARED – Inside IR35, 3-5 days in the office when needed. 12 month contract with hybrid working. Location: Barrow in Furness.
Role Description
* Inputting into high‑level designs.
* Creating low‑level designs from approved high‑level designs.
* Configuring core infrastructure components such as data centre fabric, access/distribution switches, routers, WAN, firewalls, load balancers, authentication servers, Wi‑Fi controllers, and management tooling.
* Performing impact assessments on large or complex networks.
* Conducting tests according to pre‑determined plans and analysing results.
* Planning surveys for cross‑site distribution areas (fiber) – checking for cabling, power and space (photos to be taken).
* Installing new SDA switches in readiness for OOH work; taking on and testing new SDA kit, providing ELS and decommissioning/removal of old switches.
