Job Title: Process Engineer

Job Description
The main purpose of the role is to assist the Project manager in overseeing and managing construction activities related to process systems within the plant. This role requires a good understanding of chemical plant processes and equipment installation.
Maintaining compliance with the Company's established operating policies and procedures will be essential whilst ensuring production targets are met.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include:
* Assist the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and overseeing construction activities related to process systems within the plant, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within established timelines.
* Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop construction schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of process-related projects.
* Coordinate with equipment suppliers, and contractors to ensure accurate installation and integration of process equipment, adhering to design specifications and safety guidelines.
* Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to verify the correct installation and functionality of process equipment and systems, working closely with the process engineering team.
* Assist in managing and resolving any process-related construction issues, including equipment malfunctions, design conflicts, and unexpected challenges, in a timely and effective manner.
* Oversee planning, execution, and completion of process modification projects, ensuring alignment with organizational process.
* Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams regarding process-related construction methods, equipment installation, and maintenance, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
* Maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports and construction records for construction activities, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Assist commissioning activities, including the startup, testing, pumps, piping networks, and related equipment.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols throughout the construction process, promoting a culture of safety and identifying and addressing any potential hazards or risks associated with process-related construction activities.
Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge/Experience:
* Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time and priorities effectively to meet project deadlines.
* Proficient IT skills including Microsoft 365 suite.
