What you’ll be doing
as a Junior Business Analyst
1. Engage effectively with various stakeholder groups, build trusted relationships, and tailor communication to their needs.
2. Work with project teams to build relationships while also meeting user needs. Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders.
3. Able to support Project Managers and teams to prioritise and make decisions
4. Apply Business Analysis techniques to analyse current services and processes against problem statements, needs, and outcomes.
5. Evaluate and document business requirements and non-functional requirements using relevant techniques.
6. Have knowledge & experience working with agile and Waterfall methodology, apply an agile mindset to all aspects of work.
7. Work closely with business areas on the opportunities, positively challenge and drive collaboration across teams to optimize opportunities within projects.
8. Seek the necessary agreement and approval of documentation with appropriate stakeholders to proceed through stages of delivery.
9. Ensure all documentation & deliverables meet the required quality to ensure the successful delivery of the outcome with minimal defects/missing scope.
10. Ability to present information clearly and succinctly at varying levels of detail, emphasis on simplifying complex business and technical concepts.
Base location – Hybrid – Clear Water Court Reading
Working hours – Monday to Friday 36 hours
What you should bring to the role
We’re looking for someone with the curiosity, drive, and foundation to grow as a Business Analyst. Ideally, you’ll have:
11. Around 1–2 years’ experience in a general business or project environment.
12. An understanding of both Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches.
13. Strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage and collaborate with stakeholders.
14. A BCS (or equivalent) Foundation/Diploma qualification – or a willingness to work towards it.
15. Some exposure to IT or digital projects, with an interest in how technology drives business change.
