This charity operates across Hampshire and Portsmouth, providing crucial services to help victims and survivors of domestic abuse achieve safety and well-being. They are committed to empowering individuals through comprehensive support and advocacy. Synopsis of duties: Provide support, advice, and assistance to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse and mental health issues. Develop recovery-focused Support Plans and conduct safety and support planning and risk assessments. Offer advocacy and support around unhealthy behaviours and provide parenting and family support. Work closely with local Mental Health teams and other professionals to ensure a coordinated community response. Participate in the "Front Door Service" and High-Risk Domestic Abuse (HRDA) meetings on a rota basis. Maintain accurate records, write reports, and undertake administrative tasks. Participate in the on-call out-of-hours service rota.Requirements: Proven experience working with clients with complex needs, including mental health Experience dealing with high-risk clients and providing support in stressful situations Advocacy experience and developing new services for individuals and families Understanding of domestic abuse issues and the needs of victims/survivors Awareness of partnership working, safeguarding, and confidentiality practices Knowledge of legal and housing issues affecting families escaping domestic abuse Full Clean UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicleThis post is open to female applicants only as being female is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
