Overview
As part of our ongoing restructure and growth, we are now looking for section leaders to work on the 4 on / 4 off shift pattern 7am to 7pm. They will support the shift leaders and production manager to and develop the teams in each of the production and the warehouse. This is a new role and all training will be provided as part of your development.
The role will include:
* Supporting your section's team members to complete their tasks whilst following standard processes.
* Providing training and coaching to your team members so that they can perform their tasks consistently with due regard for safety, quality and efficiency.
* Providing feedback and encouragement to your team members and to raise issues of concern with your shift leaders to bring about positive change to grow your team's skill and aptitude.
* Taking responsibility for the accuracy of your section's daily plans.
* Working with the team to ensure daily plans are completed with equal regard to quality and quantity.
* Ensuring cleaning schedules and standard cleaning instructions are followed to maintain and raise standards of hygiene.
* Taking a lead role in the daily section huddles to review performance and action boards.
* Getting involved in the writing of SOP's by recommending edits and updates to the 'process team'.
* To supporting your section by being 'hands-on' the production lines whenever needed to assist with all production tasks as required.
* The warehouse section leaders will need to have a forklift licence.
Skills
An enthusiasm to learn and work as part of a team is essential.
Support their team to complete daily plans

Experience in food production.
