About Our Client
Our client is a market leading professional service organisation based in the centre of Glasgow operating on a hybrid basis. They are a fast paced and busy payroll bureau, so there is a range of varied clients that you will be responsible for, as well as deliver for across the whole payroll life cycle.
Job Description
The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:
3. Hands on managing your own client portfolio, processing end to end UK payrolls
4. Importing payroll information into our payroll software and maintaining payroll records
5. Be the focal point for your clients, managing any queries they might have and giving them fantastic customer support
6. Ensure that we are diligent and compliant with record keeping, keeping our client payroll manuals up to date and ensuring that manual checks and calculations are accurate and that we are compliant with Data Protection regulations
7. As this is a busy bureau role, your portfolio will be varied with a range of weekly and monthly payrolls for clients with small headcounts, up to large corporate organisations
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:
8. Significant experience in high-volume processing and solid knowledge of up-to-date payroll legislation, SSP, SMP, HMRC processes, and working directly with client representatives.
9. Experience in managing end-to-end payroll processes
10. Have strong skills and understanding of the entire Microsoft Office suite - particularly in Excel.
11. Experience using mainstream payroll systems such as Sage and BrightPay.
12. A payroll or finance-related qualification or relevant hands-on experience.
13. Experience in managing multi-frequency payroll would be advantageous.
14. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar payroll position.
