Senior Youth Worker (Youth Voice and Influence)

JNC Professional Range 22–25 – £38,757 to £41,755. Permanent, 36.5 hours per week. Based at Maypole Youth Centre with a city‑wide brief.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of youth voice across the service and wider Directorate, focusing on Children in Care.
* Ensure implementation of systems across Birmingham Youth Service and delivery of high‑quality youth work to young people.
* Work collaboratively with other Senior Youth Workers and stakeholders to promote creative partnerships and improve outcomes.
* Contribute to planning and performance management across the delivery team and inspire best provision.
Qualifications
* Degree level in Youth work or related field with a JNC qualification.
* Significant experience in managing and leading staff in youth work delivery.
* Strong understanding of relevant policies, practices, and national frameworks.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage conflicting demands and work under pressure.
