Job Title: Manager – Transactions – Power & Utilities
Base Location: London Canary Wharf

* You will be working on some of the largest and most complex Transactions in the Power & Utilities space.
* In this exciting team you will gain the opportunity to become an M&A and Power & Utilities subject matter expert with its unique market offering.
What will you be doing?
* Strategic and market analysis for potential acquisitions and corporate actions.
* Regulatory due diligence on transactions involving regulated utilities.
* Commercial due diligence across Power & Utilities infrastructure assets.
* Strategic and other advisory services on transactions including eg cost and performance benchmarking.
* Financial modelling, financial and scenarios analysis.
* Transaction advice, deal structuring and execution.
* Financial advice, working in conjunction with our M&A practice.
What will you need to do it?
* Experience of working on transactions in utilities and infrastructure, either with an M&A or a Consulting background
* You would need to have a detailed understand of the Transaction process and execution
* A good knowledge of utilities and energy sectors in the UK (key market segments) and ability to identify and analyse key value drivers on a particular transaction in the Power & Utilities market.
Skills we’d love to see/Amazing Extras:
* Ideally you would be from an Investment Banking or M&A Advisory team background within a Big 4/Top 10/Boutique advisor.
