As a Trade Counter Sales Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for new customers while also maintaining strong relationships with a loyal base of returning clients. This role requires someone who can build and sustain excellent customer relationships while delivering prompt, knowledgeable, and accurate service to meet their needs. By following the sales process efficiently, you will help ensure outstanding customer satisfaction, accurate paperwork, and proper stock and till management. This is a full-time, on-site position working Monday to Friday, 6:30 am – 4:30 pm (with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break). Our client is offering this position on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with a salary of £26,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience) plus a company bonus scheme. The successful candidate will take ownership of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and tidiness at the trade counter, be physically fit to assist with loading vehicles when required, and possess a confident telephone manner.
