We are working with a Local Authority in the Oxfordshire Region looking for a Property Locum Lawyer to join their department for a 6-month period.
The successful candidate must have at least 12 months’ experience in dealing with the following:
* Matters including acquisitions and disposals, right to buy transactions, leases and licences, deeds of variation, deeds of surrender, rent reviews. Assisting with the preparation of Compulsory Purchase Orders. Acting on behalf of the council as landowner concerning the grant of easements and covenants, registration of transactions at the Land Registry.
You will need to have experience of handling your own legal caseload.
Previous residential and commercial property legal experience in a local authority is essential.
Pay rate is between £45-55 per hour.

The local authority is looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible. Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are looking to speak to candidates available on no more than 2 weeks’ notice.
