Responsibilities of our Associate Paraplanner include:
1. Participating in and delivering comprehensive financial research within set SLAs using company-approved research tools.
2. Preparing financial reports across a wide range of advice types and financial products, and developing a strong understanding of the firm’s Advice Guidance when delivered.
3. Completing tax and other complex ad-hoc calculations for clients and advisors as required.
4. Managing your workflow effectively by managing your diary and proactively adhering to SLAs.
5. Identifying training needs for yourself and the team, and suggesting process improvements, escalating where necessary.
6. Supporting the wider Paraplanning team with workflow management and participating in team projects, adhering to deadlines.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
1. Working towards the Diploma in Financial Planning or ready to join the Associate Paraplanner programme.
2. Demonstrable knowledge and experience in personal financial planning, research, and report construction.
3. Experience in an IFA environment.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong report writing abilities.
5. High accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines.
