We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a committed team, supporting students across English, PSHE, and Humanities subjects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and making a real difference in young people’s lives. Starting September 2025.
Duties as Learning Support Assistant:
1. Provide in-class support to students, helping them engage with English, PSHE, and Humanities lessons.
2. Work closely with subject teachers to adapt resources and ensure all students can access the curriculum.
3. Support students with additional learning needs, promoting confidence and independence.
4. Deliver small group or one-to-one interventions when required.
5. Encourage positive behaviour, resilience, and active participation in learning.
6. Contribute to the wider pastoral support of students, particularly within PSHE sessions.
7. Experience working with young people in an educational setting (desirable but not essential).
8. Maintain strong subject knowledge or interest in English, PSHE, and Humanities.
9. Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Demonstrate patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
11. Show a proactive, flexible, and team-focused approach.
