Social Care Recruitment are seeking proactive, reliable and passionate Childrens Residential Support Workers for full-time, permanent opportunities within our partner services.
About The Role
As a Childrens Residential Support Worker, you'll be supporting young people aged 6-25 across Residential Childrens Homes and Supported Living services. Your role is to help them feel safe, develop life skills, build confidence and work towards a brighter future. This is a hands-on, active role where you'll be involved in everything from daily routines to engaging activities, behaviour support and emotional guidance.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide consistent emotional, practical and behavioural support
* Maintain a safe, nurturing and positive environment
* Promote independence through structured routines and life skills
* Build strong, trusting relationships with young people
* Support individuals with challenging behaviours, trauma and complex needs
* Participate in community-based and in-house activities
* Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver high-quality care
* Follow safeguarding principles and Children's Home Regulations (Ofsted)
What We're Looking For
* Full-time availability (Essential)
* Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle (Essential)
* Minimum 6 months UK social care experience (children or adults)
* Proactive, resilient and confident approach
* Genuine passion for supporting young people
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred can be arranged)
