Job Overview

Job Title: Customer Service Coordinator

Location: Telford, UK

Job Type: Full Time Contract, until 27/07/2026

Work Model: Fully onsite


Summary

* We are looking for energetic and robust individuals who can manage a wide range of processes, adapt flexibly, and thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
* Strong computer office skills are required for this position.
* Communicate outsource work priority for customers on a daily/weekly basis with attention to detail for the customer’s requirements and our contractual obligations.
* Provide quotation of sub-contract prices to customers via Sales system. Manage daily prioritization of customer orders and communicate status and manage escalations.
* Answer daily queries from customers, relaying information in documented form.
* Process customer requests and ensure work is managed in a timely manner for outsource by triggering release of service orders to suppliers and partnering with logistics to verify progression.
* Monitor Turn Around Time of jobs to ensure we meet customer contractual commitments.
* Handle requests to verify status for receipt or other processing steps for outsourced work as required.
* Update internal system notes for individual jobs and log certificates onto the internal system for auditing purposes.
* Support the overall outsource on-site duties daily, providing good teamwork and prompt support.
* Ensure supply of high-technology materials, equipment and/or services in accordance with supply chain optimization goals and management objectives.
* General purchasing responsibilities may include triggering and/or generating requisitions, purchase orders and overall scheduling. Review supplier quotes and order confirmations to ensure on-time delivery and meeting customer dates.
* Support procurement outsource contract staff as needed, including open order reports, supplier confirmation, on-time delivery, expediting, etc.


Essential Skills

* Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel (knowledge of v-lookup formulas, etc.)
* Experience in customer service (2 years or more)
