Your Role as Semi-Skilled Technician / Mechanic:
As a Semi-Skilled Technician / Mechanic, you’ll play a key role in preparing vehicles to a high standard, assisting with repairs, and learning from senior technicians. Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing new and used vehicles – Ensuring they meet showroom standards.
* Replacing wheels and tyres – Keeping vehicles road-ready.
* Performing routine maintenance and repairs – On light vehicles.
* Assisting senior technicians – With complex repairs and troubleshooting.
* Ensuring safety and compliance – Following all regulations and best practices.
* Accurately recording maintenance activities – Keeping detailed repair logs.
* Collaborating with the team – Providing excellent customer service.
What You’ll Bring:
* Level 2 Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance (essential).
* Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
* Strong problem-solving skills – With attention to detail.
* Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
* Enthusiasm for the automotive industry – With a drive to progress.
* Full UK Driving Licence (preferred but not essential).
