About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a friendly and inclusive primary school in Cambridge seeking a reliable HLTA/Cover Supervisor to join their team. The role involves leading whole-class cover, supporting interventions, and contributing to the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging lessons when teachers are absent (work provided)
2. Lead small-group interventions in core subjects
3. Support behaviour inside and outside the classroom
4. Follow safeguarding procedures and promote pupil wellbeing
5. Work collaboratively with the teaching team
What We're Looking For:
6. HLTA qualification or proven class cover experience
7. Confident leading groups or full classes independently
8. Strong communication and organisational skills
9. Ability to quickly build rapport with pupils
10. A calm, positive and flexible approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
