The Marketing Officer is responsible for supporting the growth and reputation of WBR Credit Union by planning and delivering effective marketing and communications activity across digital, traditional, and community channels, in line with the Credit Union.
Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and evaluate marketing and promotional campaigns to drive membership growth, loan uptake, and brand awareness
* Manage and develop WBR Credit Union's social media platforms, website content, and digital presence
* Create engaging marketing content for digital, print, advertising, and in-branch promotions
* Support community engagement initiatives, sponsorships, and events that strengthen the Credit Union's local presence
* Design, implement, and monitor digital and social media advertising campaigns, providing performance insights to Management
* Conduct market research, member surveys, and competitor monitoring to identify trends and growth opportunities
* Organise and deliver key events and promotional activities in line with the Marketing Plan
* Support the implementation of the Board-approved Marketing and Membership Recruitment Plans
* Work closely with Management and relevant Committees to align marketing activity with strategic objectives
* Provide regular updates, reports, and insights to Management and Committees
* Ensure all marketing and communications activity complies with regulatory, legislative, and governance requirements
* Ensure adequate stock of promotional materials and manage advertising placements as required
Skills and Qualifications
* Level 5 qualification in Marketing/Digital Media or minimum two years’ relevant marketing experience
* Full driving licence and access to a car
* Experience in digital marketing, social media management, and website content
* Strong communication and IT skills
