Typical working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm, with occasional Saturday morningsDuties as a Service Advisor:
Welcoming customers warmly and booking vehicles for service or repair appointments
Advising customers on minor vehicle technical issues and repair requirements
Liaising with workshop teams to monitor ongoing work and progress updates
Upselling additional services and parts, including service plans where appropriate
Keeping customers informed throughout the repair process and providing accurate estimates
Handling payment transactions efficiently and accurately for completed work
Meeting and exceeding sales targets and company objectives
Building strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention
Supporting warranty procedures and liaising with manufacturers regarding warranty claims (desirable but not essential)Requirements:
A minimum of two years’ experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the motor industry
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
The ability to influence and professionally advise customers
Strong organisational skills and proficiency with IT; experience with Kerridge/Keyloop DMS advantageous but not essential
Knowledge of automotive warranty processes is preferred
