The Mental Health Urgent Care Centre offers a 24/7 practitioner‑led service designed to improve experiences and outcomes for service users, carers, and staff. It supports acute hospital colleagues and plays a crucial role in enhancing ED performance and overall quality of care.
This role is best suited to a nurse with assessment experience who is confident, proactive and able to work autonomously. Prior experience in crisis settings is ideal, but we welcome applicants who can navigate complex and changeable situations while providing timely, compassionate, and person‑centred care. The role is not suitable for a newly qualified nurse.
