About you:
* Degree in Building Surveying or a related field
* Previous experience in social housing (desirable but not essential)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Proficiency with CAD and other relevant software
* Knowledge of building regulations, planning laws, and health & safety standards
What you'll do:
* Lead inspections and surveys for planned maintenance projects
* Coordinate and monitor project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met
* Prepare detailed reports on property conditions, defects, and maintenance recommendations
* Liaise effectively with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all project stages
* Manage site teams and review work quality to ensure compliance and excellence
* Collaborate with internal QS teams and external consultants on valuations and cost management
* Provide technical guidance on building regulations, safety standards, and regulations compliance
* Assist with project handovers and contribute to maintaining high SHEQ standards
