1st Select are working in partnership with a Local AuthorityBased in the East Midlands. We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor on an 6 month contract to service a high-volume contract in the residential sector. The main role of the Quantity Surveyor will be to provide support and guidance to clients on all aspects in relation to costs on quoted maintenance works. Reviewing quotations to ensure value for money and qualitative solutions. Prepare reports to demonstrate savings, efficiencies, quality of workmanship, adherence to specifications and value for money. Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent IT literate, intermediate level in use of Excel to include pivot tables and data manipulation Experience in the residential sector is not required. Experience Required: Essential Quantity Surveying Commercial Contract awareness Basic technical knowledge Data management and analysis Working in Facilities Management or retail Working with the Supply Chain Volume based processing and analysis Experience in Fire Safety Regulations NEC Forms of Contract ADZN1_UKTJ
