Water Hygiene Engineer
Oxfordshire/Berkshire (Field-based, UK travel required)
Full time, permanent (Monday – Friday)
£30,000 per annum, depending on experience

The Role
We're looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join our skilled and supportive hygiene team.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out temperature monitoring, routine sampling, and system checks
Inspect and clean Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWSTs) and hot water storage vessels
Perform cleaning and disinfection of water systems, showerheads, and outlets
Collect and record accurate site data and service reports
Ensure full compliance with ACoP L8 and HSG274 Part 2
Build positive client relationships and represent H2O Environmental professionally
Travel nationwide as required to support contracts

The Ideal Candidate:
You'll be a proactive and professional engineer with a strong understanding of water hygiene practices and Legionella control standards. You'll take pride in your work, have a keen eye for detail, and be comfortable working independently on client sites. About you:
Previous experience in a Water Hygiene or Water Treatment Technician role
Solid knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, and Water Regulations
A full UK driving licence (essential)
Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
Flexibility to travel throughout the UK
A professional, customer-focused attitude
