Role Description This is a full-time, Hybrid, Wellingborough: 3 days on-site, 2 from home Head of Sales and Marketing role. The Head of Sales and Marketing will lead the development and execution of the company’s global sales and marketing strategy, driving revenue growth and market expansion in chromatography, mass spectrometry and life science consumables. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and coaching the sales team, setting targets, monitoring performance, and overseeing key customer accounts and partnerships. The role will also involve designing and implementing marketing campaigns, managing digital and traditional marketing channels, and ensuring consistent brand positioning across markets. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior leadership, product, and operations teams to align commercial plans with business objectives and market needs.
Qualifications
* Proven Sales and Sales Management skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
* Strong Account Management capabilities, including building, maintaining, and growing long-term customer relationships.
* Demonstrated Team Management experience, including leading, coaching, and developing high-performing commercial teams.
* Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer insights, and to inform strategic decisions.
* Extensive experience in B2B sales, ideally within chromatography, mass spectrometry, laboratory consumables, or related scientific markets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to work on-site in Wellingborough, with travel to customers, partners, and industry events as required.
