We are seeking a Professional Indemnity Senior Claims Handler to join our team at Caytons a Gallagher Bassett company. This role is pivotal in ensuring claims are handled efficiently, economically, and in alignment with service standards. The successful candidate will contribute to Caytons Claims' reputation as a market-leading TPA claims function by delivering excellent service and maintaining high-quality standards. This opportunity offers both hybrid and remote working options. How you'll make an impact Investigate and develop strategies to resolve claims promptly and cost-effectively. Adhere to departmental SLA’s and KPI’s, ensuring service levels are consistently met. Provide guidance and support to Claims Handlers and Assistants. Review policy coverage and liaise with panel solicitors as needed. Ensure insurer clients’ claims and reserving philosophies are consistently applied. Take a proactive approach to investigation, ADR, and negotiation to minimise litigation. Report and refer individual matters to insurer clients as required. Identify claim trends and ensure the quality and integrity of Management Information (MI). About You Experience in a similar role; insurance/legal qualifications are desirable. Strong technical Professional Indemnity claims experience and product knowledge. Customer/client-focused with a proven track record of delivering results. Comprehensive business, industry, and market knowledge.
