About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Private Client solicitor to join our Cheltenham based team at Associate or Senior Associate level. As one of the UK’s most respected law firms, our large private client team is recognised for advising high net worth individuals, including owner managed businesses and agricultural clients, on a broad and stimulating range of matters.
The team includes a significant number of STEP-qualified solicitors and members of Solicitors for the Elderly and has a growing specialism in advising private family charitable trusts. We also have substantial experience supporting clients with international assets.
This role offers the chance to work closely with highly experienced and well regarded private client partners, as well as collaborate with our wider private client team of over 100 specialists nationwide.
The Role
* Providing high quality, profitable fee earning support within the private client team.
* Advising on a wide range of private client matters including wills, probate, trusts, LPAs, estates, and tax planning.
* Maintaining and developing strong technical knowledge, while sharing insight and expertise collaboratively across the team.
* Contributing to business development initiatives, including networking, marketing and cross selling opportunities.
* Supporting the growth of client relationships and delivering an excellent client experience.
About You
* 2-7 years’ PQE within Private Client.
* STEP qualification or working towards this.
* Strong technical expertise with excellent drafting skills.
* Collaborative approach and ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Strong teamwork and relationship building skills.
* Proactive, organised, and ambitious mindset with keen attention to detail.
* Genuine interest in mentoring and developing junior members of the team.
