We are working closely with a number of supportive secondary schools across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast who are looking to appoint reliable Cover Supervisors to support with planned and emergency staff absence.
This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers, or experienced support staff looking to step into the classroom.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher
Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a focused learning environment
Support students in completing set work
Provide feedback to teaching staff
Build strong professional relationships with students and staffYou are not required to plan lessons your focus is on classroom management, engagement, and ensuring learning continues smoothly.
No two days are the same, and the experience gained is invaluable.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with young people (school, sports, coaching, youth work, etc.)
Is confident leading a classroom
Has strong communication and organisational skills
Can remain calm and professional under pressure
