Role: Production Operative
Location: Dudley
Hours of Work: Rotating Shift (Mornings/ Afternoons) - Mornings- Monday to Thursday- 5.40am to 1.50pm & Friday- 5.40am to 11.30am/ Afternoons- Monday to Thursday- 1.40pm to 9.50pm, Friday- 11.20am to 5.10pm
Hourly Rate: £12.21ph increasing to £13.75ph after 12-weeks
Pertemps are recruiting for experienced Production Operative to join our client in Dudley, where you'll play a key part in producing high-quality components. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability are essential. We are looking for hardworking, and motivated individuals to carry out a variety of production tasks within a modern and supportive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Trimming excess materials from moulding components on a conveyor line.
2. Visually inspecting products to ensure quality standards are met.
3. Assembling small plastic parts.
4. Applying leather upholstery to components in a fast-paced environment.
5. Meeting daily production targets to maintain work flow.
6. Using a small press to fit metal bushes into plastic moulded parts.
7. Inspecting finished items and recording work volumes.
8. Checking incoming parts for faults and matching to specification documents.
9. Packing approved parts and reporting any defects.
10. Learning and operating basic injection mould machine controls (start/stop).
