As an employment Advisor, you will work directly with a caseload of customers to help them overcome barriers to employment, providing vital support to transform their lives. By motivating and empowering your clients, you will help them develop the skills and confidence needed for secure and sustained employment.
You will develop strong relationships by encouraging, motivating, and challenging your customers to fulfill their potential, while ensuring you meet your own job-specific targets.
1. Meet personal performance targets and Key Performance Indicators
2. Manage a caseload of customers using various coaching strategies, preparing them for interviews and job searching
3. Undertake in-depth assessments to understand each customer's circumstances, preferences, and barriers
4. Co-produce personalised SMART action plans with sequenced interventions and development opportunities
5. Utilise local specialist services to support specific issues (e.g., substance misuse, anger management, debt advice, health, vocational training)
6. Identify employer recruitment needs and conduct tailored pre-screens and group assessments
7. Develop effective in-work support plans with participants and employers
8. Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance service quality
9. Comply with company policies on data security, safeguarding, and health & safety
10. Work from local hubs and community outreach locations to increase accessibility, sometimes alongside other services
11. Maintain a customer-focused approach with a strong commitment to care
12. Be a strong team player with a positive, flexible approach
13. Have experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
14. Experience delivering services that meet contractual and quality standards
15. Be fully IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Zoom, Google, and digital technologies
16. Demonstrate strong communication skills, including listening, questioning, and relationship-building
17. Show creative problem-solving skills and a positive attitude towards overcoming barriers
18. Ability to plan and organise workload to meet targets and deadlines
19. Experience in Welfare to Work sector or recruitment background is desirable
20. Knowledge of the employability industry is desirable

Salary Range
Minimum: £29,400.00
Maximum: £31,700.00
