Location: Minehead, Somerset
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £26,208 to £29,000 (depending on experience) + call out + overtime

Your Responsibilities
As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient delivery of highway services across the Somerset network. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Promoting customer care by collaborating with team members and ensuring courteous interactions with clients and network users.
* Responding to highway defects within designated timescales and updating relevant parties using tablet devices.
* Conducting emergency repairs and managing traffic signage as needed.
* Completing daily defect reports on vehicles and maintaining them in good condition.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Hold a full driving licence (LGV training will be provided once you meet necessary business targets).
* Can work independently and as part of a team, effectively communicating any faults or issues.
