CK Group are recruiting for a Food Science Technician to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis for 3 months. This is a site-based role in Reading but may include travel to the Wokingham lab.
Salary:
£13.30 ph PAYE
Food Science Technician Role:
* Perform routine analysis and sample preparation
* Produce reliable, accurate data and keep accurate records of laboratory work
* Follow product formulations and methods to produce food products at bench or manufacturing scale
* Perform laboratory tasks following specified methodologies
Your Background :
* Have a background, or understanding of food safety
* Worked in a food environment such as a lab, kitchen etc
* Hold A levels in a scientific subject
* Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to follow written instructions
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* This is an urgent role so a candidate who can start quickly is a requirement
