The school and role
We are looking for a dedicated HLTA or PPA Cover Teacher in Rochdale to deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, support teaching and learning, provide targeted pupil support, and contribute to the school’s ethos and daily life.
The role involves delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, supporting teachers with planning, assessment, and classroom management, providing targeted support to pupils, and contributing to the wider school community while upholding its values.
Requirements
To be considered for the Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Level 3 or 4 with extensive experience covering lessons or a HLTA
2. ECTS, Teachers will be considered.
3. Will have recent experience working in either KS1 or KS2 or who understands the key components of both areas of primary education.
4. A constructive and positive attitude towards learning and development
5. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
6. A desire to work within a school that values continuous improvement and professional growth
