Are you an experiencedpliance professional with a strong technical background in building surveying and M&E services? I am seeking a Leadpliance Surveyor for a 6-month temporary assignment with the potential to transition into a permanent role.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation undergoing a major modernisation programme. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring statutorypliance across a diverse property portfolio of over 500 assets, including corporate buildings and schools.
Your new role
1. Lead and manage buildingpliance activities across a large and varied estate.
2. Provide expert technical advice in building surveying, construction, and M&E engineering.
3. Oversee statutorypliance programmes, PPM schedules, and CAFM system updates.
4. Manage budgets of approximately £3m annually, ensuring value for money.
5. Procure and manage external contractors and specialist consultants.
6. Mentor and develop a high-performingpliance team.
7. Act as a professional lead for health and safetypliance, including asbestos and water hygiene.
What you'll need to succeed
8. Degree in Building Surveying, Construction, or Mechanical & Electrical discipline.
9. Professional qualifications (RICS, CIOB, CEng, or equivalent) – or working towards.
10. BIOH P405 (Asbestos Management) or equivalent.
11. Proven track record inpliance management within large estates.
12. Strong knowledge of building regulations, statutorypliance, and contract administration.
13. Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be paid apetitive daily rate of up to £450 (in scope of IR35). This opportunity could go permanent after the initial 6 months. This is a flexible contract offering hybrid working and an excellent team to be a part of.
