About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Sage Cloud Accounting Specialist to support the financial management of our UK Limited company.
This is a remote position, working directly within Sage Cloud Accounting, with close collaboration with the company owner.
The role requires strong practical experience in managing accounting processes for a UK Limited company and advanced working knowledge of Sage Cloud Accounting.
Key Responsibilities
* Organising and maintaining the accounting system
* Managing daily transactions in Sage Cloud Accounting
* VAT returns and VAT reconciliation
* Reviewing and correcting historical/backlogged transactions
* Matching transactions with documents imported via Dext
* Investigating and resolving discrepancies
* Supporting system improvements and clean-up
The candidate will initially work closely with the company owner via Zoom calls or AnyDesk, to review accounts and clarify unclear transactions.
After processes are established, part of the work will be completed independently, while maintaining direct collaboration with the owner.
Requirements
* Proven experience using Sage Cloud Accounting (essential)
* Experience managing accounts for a UK Limited company
* Strong understanding of VAT regulations and compliance
* Experience with Dext (or similar document management systems)
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and proactively
* Good communication skills
Working Arrangement
* Remote work
* 1 day per week (preferred)
* Working day chosen by the candidate
* Ongoing collaboration with company director
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £25.00-£35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 6 per week
