Scheduling & Planning Team Leader - Salford
Are you an organised and people-focused leader with a passion for operational planning? We're looking for a dedicated and proactive Scheduling & Planning Team Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of our scheduling and planning function.
In this role, you'll oversee a team of administrators and schedulers, ensuring smooth processes and that planning activities support the wider business needs. You'll ensure policies and procedures are followed and support your team to deliver high standards of service.
You will also play a key role in engaging, motivating, coaching, and developing your team, helping them grow and succeed in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Main Responsibilities
1. Deputise in the absence of the operations manager on shift
2. Be the first point of escalation for any queries
3. Support operators / schedulers with their workload when required
4. Monitor and manage workloads, ensuring they are within required timescales
5. Develop and assist in delivering regular training and coaching
6. Conduct monthly 1-1s and quarterly PDRs, documenting actions and development needs
7. Ensure prompt and efficient service, identifying process improvements and weaknesses
8. Maintain training documentation and needs analysis
9. Support the management team in rolling out processes and incorporating changes
10. Deputise as required for other Team Leaders and perform other duties as appropriate
11. Achieve high customer and supplier satisfaction, escalating requests as necessary

The Ideal Candidate
* Minimum 3 years' experience in Contact Centre / Service Centre environment
* Experience in People leadership and team management
* Ability to lead in a changing environment
* Ability to handle multiple priorities
* Proven coaching and development skills
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
* Self-motivated, confident, honest, and flexible
* Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
* Experience in process improvement
* Ability to deliver excellent customer service
* Self-starter with results-oriented mindset
Package and Benefits
Up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience
