This post is a yearly rotational position across two hospital sites: St. Bartholomew's Hospital and The Royal London Hospital. You will join a large and well-established dietetic department. The successful candidate will participate in the Cardiac & Critical Care rotation, initially for approximately 6 months, with potential rotation to other specialties due to a vacancy arising mid-rotation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work with an integrated team of therapists.
2. Supervise, educate, and assess dietetic students.
3. Undertake evidence-based audit and research projects, and make recommendations to the clinical lead or service manager for practice improvements.
4. Provide a flexible and effective dietetic service at Band 6 level to patients at either hospital.
5. Participate in continuing professional development, research, and audit to ensure evidence-based practice.
Rotations
There are five yearly rotations: Cardiology & Critical Care, Neurosciences & Trauma, Renal, Gastroenterology, and Haem-oncology. The initial rotation for this position will be in Critical Care & Cardiology.
