Job Title: Assistant Store Manager
Location: Didcot
Basic Salary: £28,000
OTE: £35,000 – £40,000+ per annum
Shift and Schedule: 9:30 am – 5:30 pm Mon–Sat, 10 am – 4 pm Sun (5.7 day pattern)
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role where you’ll balance hands‑on sales with team support. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to drive performance, coach your team, and deliver an unbeatable customer experience while smashing your own sales targets.

* Lead from the front on the shop floor, delivering personal sales results.
* Support the Store Manager in daily operations: stock, compliance, and reporting.
* Motivate and coach the team to hit sales and service targets.
* Ensure every customer leaves with the right product and a smile.
* Help create a welcoming, customer‑first environment.
* Step up in the Store Manager’s absence, taking full responsibility for the store.
* Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve performance.
Successful Applicant
* Background in retail or assisted sales, ideally telecoms or tech.
* Strong sales record: target‑driven and results‑focused.
* Ready to take on leadership responsibility while staying hands‑on.
* Confident, proactive, and commercially aware.
* Great communicator who can build trust with both customers and colleagues.
* Passionate about tech and always up to date with the latest products.
* Ambitious, positive, and eager to grow into a Store Manager role.
