Are you an experienced Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse looking for a Room Leader role with an easy commute?

We are recruiting for a permanent, full:time Nursery Room Leader for a beautiful setting in Haywards Heath. Located just a short 5:minute walk from Haywards Heath train station, this role offers a stress:free commute for anyone travelling from Brighton, Burgess Hill and Crawley.

Key Responsibilities as a Room Leader:

Room Management: Oversee the daily operations of your room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.

Team Leadership: Mentor and support a small team of Nursery Practitioners, promoting best practices in Early Years education.
*

EYFS Delivery: Plan and implement creative, age:appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
*

Parent Partnership: Maintain excellent communication with parents and carers, providing updates on child development.
*

Safeguarding: Ensure the highest standards of safety, safeguarding, and compliance are met at all times.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Must hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or BA in Early Years).
*

Experience: Proven experience working within an EYFS nursery setting. Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Practitioner, or Team Leader is highly desirable.
*

Skills: Strong communication skills, excellent team:working abilities, and a thorough understanding of safeguarding policies.
*

Status: Must have the right to work in the UK for a permanent role.
