THE EMPLOYER IS: AUTISM SUPPORT KILKEEL Autism Support Kilkeel is growing, and we’re looking for a friendly, organised, and enthusiastic Office Junior to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone starting out in administration who’s eager to learn, grow, and become a valued part of the team. You’ll help with the day to day admin that keeps our charity running smoothly. From organising paperwork to helping with event prep, you’ll play an important part in supporting families and ensuring our services run efficiently. No two days will be the same, and you’ll be supported as you build your skills and confidence. Responsibilities
* General office duties: filing, photocopying, scanning, organising documents.
* Answering phone calls and helping with enquiries in a warm, professional manner.
* Supporting event administration (sign in sheets, manage attendance lists, preparing reports).
* Updating spreadsheets, calendars, and simple records.
* Handling payments securely and accurately.
* Managing incoming/outgoing post and emails.
* Assisting the Chair and committee with admin tasks as needed.
* Attend Committee meetings. Take notes and write up meeting minutes.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Good organisation and time management.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Clear communication (written and verbal).
* Basic IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Willingness to learn and take direction.
* Ability to work well as part of a small, supportive team.
* Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Desirable Skills
* Experience in a customer facing or community role.
* Interest in autism, neurodiversity, or community work.
* Confidence using social media or simple digital tools.
* A desire to grow your skills and take on more responsibility over time.
