We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team and support the Rapid Access Neurovascular Clinic at Bournemouth Hospital. The role involves supporting and covering clinics on a 7-day service basis. This post is being advertised as a Band 3, however applicants that do not meet the required care certificate competencies will initially be employed as a Band 2. Applicants who hold a care certificate accreditation will start in post at Band 3. As part of the interview process you will be asked to complete a numeracy and literacy assessment. Base Location: Bournemouth Interview Date: 29th October Main duties of the job We use a new referral system. The successful applicant will be key in delivery of the new referral process and contribute to the success of this. The clinics are varied and can be busy. The successful applicant will need to be self-motivated, reliable, with good time-keeping skills and able to use their initiative to ensure the smooth running of the service. The role includes working closely with consultants and senior nurses, data collection and the use of computers. This role includes developing and using clinical skills such as performing ECGs and taking blood. Full training will be provided.
